Angeline (Angie) Reinhart is an Accountant in Business and Finance at the EERC, where she provides accounting and business support, including preparing and maintaining financial paperwork; reviewing and approving expenditures, monitoring funds, auditing transactions, and resolving discrepancies; and performing cost analysis, reviews, and approvals of budgets and other documents. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from the University of Minnesota – Crookston.
Angie was drawn to this job because of the experiences she had with the EERC in her former positions at the UND College of Engineering and Mines and the SUNRISE Center of Excellence Group. “I believe this position at the EERC will allow me to use my experience to move the EERC forward to study and solve the world’s energy and environmental challenges,” Angie said.
Although Angie is starting in her new role while the EERC employees are maintaining a mostly remote working style, she is grateful for the welcoming emails from colleagues and their willingness to help her understand her new role.
Angie grew up on her family’s farmstead near Gentilly, Minnesota. She and her husband, Scott, currently live in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Their son, Jayden, resides in Grand Forks as well. Angie enjoys country line and couples dancing and outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and canoeing.
