Tressa Graves is a Librarian and Archivist at the EERC, where she provides research and reference assistance to EERC staff and UND faculty, staff, and students and assists with the development and maintenance of EERC Library resources. She holds Master of Library and Information Science degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and a B.S. degree in Anthropology from Central Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a Digital Archives Specialist Certificate from the Society of American Archivists. Prior to her position at the EERC, she served as an Audiovisual Assessment and Process Assistant for the University Libraries at The Ohio State University.
Tressa was interested in working at the EERC because she has enjoyed past experiences working with energy- and environment-related archival and library collections. She has presented at numerous archival conferences and in 2020 coauthored her first peer-reviewed journal article. She is from Michigan and collects Marvel comics. She is also looking into the possibility of getting a cat or dog.
