Michael Jackson is a Maintenance Technician at the EERC, where he installs and repairs furniture, countertops, flooring, doors, windows, and ceilings; patches and paints walls; performs general maintenance on building exteriors; assists with maintenance and repair of HVAC and electrical components/systems; and performs snow removal.
Mike was interested in his new role because of the EERC’s great work environment and opportunities for growth. Prior to joining our team, Mike was a Senior Maintenance Technician at the Grand Forks Housing Authority. He received a bachelor’s degree from UND and worked for the UND Department of Anthropology from 1998 to 2015.
Mike grew up in Oakes and Harvey, North Dakota. He has three children, two attending UND and one at Grand Forks Central High School. He recently moved to East Grand Forks after spending nearly 20 years in Grand Forks. He enjoys cycling, hiking, curling, outdoor photography, and attending events for his kids.
